HAVE A TREE RELATED QUESTION?

We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • Are you fully insured?

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. We also offer workers' compensation as a way to give you the peace of mind that you are working with one of the most reputable tree trimming companies.

  • Can you give me a detailed estimate?

Yes, whether you're interested in tree removal or tree trimming services, a detailed estimate will be provided via email.

  • Can I keep the firewood from the trees that you cut down?

Most of the time, customers can keep the firewood from the trees that we cut down. However, in the event that the tree is diseased, it must be disposed of in a manner that follows city ordinances. Contact Jay's Tree Care & Firewood today to learn more about our kiln-dried firewood and tree removal services.

  • When is the best time to trim my trees?

It depends on the type of tree. We're proud to be a team of tree trimming professionals and a reliable firewood supplier, so call us today for more information about your specific situation.

  • Why is it important to work with an ISA-certified arborist?

According to Arborists Near Me, around 82,000 tree care businesses are currently active in the U.S. today. Of course, not all have the same types of certification. Working with an ISA-certified arborist means you'll be receiving services from a knowledgeable, experienced tree care professional who is committed to properly caring for and maintaining trees. Call us today to talk to one of our team members about our tree trimming services.

  • Do you have any branches overseas?

Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.
  • Do you have a delivery fee?

No. The delivery price is included in our firewood prices.

  • Is there a fee for stacking firewood?

The price includes delivery and stacking in a convenient location only. Convenient location means must be able to get a wheelbarrow quickly and directly to the location (maybe additional fees for steps and inside homes). If you will be stacking in the garage and no one will be home, you will need to provide a garage code or leave a service door open, or the driver will find another spot to stack, and you will need to move inside. Each truck has 12-15 stops and is on a schedule, so it is hard for them when they have to wait to get ahold of someone.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

Here at Jay's Tree Care & Firewood, to keep costs down, we still only accept cash or checks.

  • What types of wood do you offer?

We have certified, kiln-dried, and our most common is our seasoned firewood. Our wood is a mixture of oak, birch, ash, maple, and basswood.

  • How often should trees be trimmed?

This can vary greatly depending on the species and its location (next to the house, over a fence or driveway, etc.).

  • What are the benefits of trimming?

Safety, strength, and health of the tree and of course the aesthetic.

  • What are the risks of not trimming a tree?

Disease, decay, damage to property and possibly other trees, and injury to people.
